T'was windy all morning and when I arrived at Salterns 3.30pm. A few people out planing quite comfortably on small-ish sails. Jem Hall was there mincing around with a video camera, dunno why, who was he coaching? Rigged the 6.0....and the wind died. BOLLOX. Blobbed out and back once but no good. Couldn't be arsed to hang around to see if the wind would come back - thought if I left now I could buy my new hi-fi in Soton before the shops shut - so packed up and left. Of course just as I was leaving the wind was picking up again, and one guy was out planing on a big sail. Just checked the wind stats for yesterday and yes, I was there in the only half-an-hour lull period. If I'd come an hour earlier or an hour later I would have had a good session.

ARSE.
